Pastor Josh Wright

I was born and raised in Missouri. I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home. When I was 10 years old I attended a vacation bible school service and heard the gospel presented. After the service I went home and my dad further explained the truths of God’s word about salvation. That evening I asked Jesus Christ to forgive me of my sin and be my personal Savior. At age 15, during summer camp, I surrendered my life to God and to whatever He desired for me to do. After graduating from high school, I attended Pensacola Christian College. I received my bachelor’s degree in 2005.

I was also privileged to be raised in a Christian home. My dad was a youth pastor through my high school years, so alot of my memories center around church. As a 5 year old, I made a profession of faith. As the years went on, I struggled with knowing if I was saved or not. At the age of 10, I realized that I needed to be saved! During our family devotions one January morning, I told my mom that I needed to pray and ask Jesus into my heart. After graduating high school, I attended Pensacola Christian College and majored in music. I am thankful for the training I received there, and also for the many ways that God has allowed me to use that training since then.

On January 8, 2005, Tiffany and I were married. We traveled on the road for two years as full-time representatives for Pensacola Christian College. In 2007, the Lord called us to the First Baptist Church of Milford; which is the home of Bearing Precious Seed, Master Clubs, and Biblical School of World Evangelism. We have served at the First Baptist Church for the past 8 years. God has blessed us with three wonderful children: Alaina (7), Braylon (4), and Nolan (2). In the summer of 2013, I went on a missions trip to our Bearing Precious Seed ministry in El Paso, TX. God used that trip to begin to put on my heart a burden for church planting. I surrendered to the call of church planting in September of 2014 during our annual missions conference. We are so thankful for the opportunity that God has given us to serve and train in the ministries at FBCM. We know that God has used our church to grow us and help us prepare for this next chapter of our lives.
